In comedy, “to kill” is the highest compliment.
Lola Martin has been killing it every night. And on the last night of her standup tour, she hopes to kill again.
From the mic stand, Lola takes us on her journey through the highs and lows of comedy: overpriced lessons in “how to be funny”, bombing in front of audiences, and her complicated relationship with Greg – which has started bleeding into her set.
Killing It is a comedy about comedy – and how far someone is prepared to go to get the laugh.
So, just where does she get her material from?
The Union Theatre, Southwark
